Tired? Create more Space…

The topic of “making space” is a recurrent one in my work with clients. Making space for oneself, making space for relationships, making space for a child… sometimes just making space to read a book or to have a session with me… let along making space to simply be, to rest, to do “nothing”.

And then we are surprised if the body is constantly tired… asking us in its own bodily way to finally slow down; gently forcing us to take that time and space we never grant us voluntarily. And why do we not give ourselves that gift proactively?

Because Space can feel frightening. If you haven’t experienced yet the fullness of nourishing Presence in Spaciousness, Space can feel like an emptiness that can never be filled and is always aching for more and more and more. And it is this (supposedly) scary “void” you are trying to run from and fill with endless activity, to-do’s, movement, things, food, sex, achievements, noise – and money.

Because another dimension of Space is Time, which for many people is equivalent with Money – and many people feel they don’t have enough money and need to make more of it…

Yet Space is simply Spaciousness… is Silence… is Stillness… and these are the only places where we can actually access our Soul and find true soul nourishment. It is the most precious and valuable asset we have. Be mindful what you trade it in for.

The Soul – just like the Body – needs Time and Space to simply BE, to process and integrate Life experiences. Digestion is not just a physical process.

Astrologically speaking, if you are filling each and every minute of your waking time with “efficient” doing (Virgo), then Neptun will ask for its place by making you tired, even if you slept enough hours at night, even if you eat well, and even if you don’t drink any coffee.

Voluntarily give Space to Neptun, create Neptun-time throughout your day. Ideally not by waking up earlier, by eating in a rush, or by being more efficient, but by doing LESS, cutting back especially on those activities that are inspired by scarcity-mindset, by your fear of not having enough money, that only come from duty and don’t give your Soul pleasure.

The only real solution to tiredness is to create more Time and Space in your Life so that you can start to FEEL what you are truly tired of, where your energy is leaking, what ignites your spark and what your true needs and desires are.

Start by following your body’s rhythm. If you are tired, make it possible to go to bed early or create time for a nourishing nap – instead of trying to cope with another coffee or pushing yourself to a workout class. Wake up refreshed and with more clarity of mind.

Drop the excuses. Prioritize your Soul. You are worth it.
